I-Check is the modular, static and dynamic monitoring system for bridges and viaducts. The data is processed directly on site, reducing management times, transmission costs and Cloud storage.

Collect data thanks to the sensor boxes.

Synchronous sampling of all the Sensor Boxes installed on the deck each containing accelerometric, gyroscopic, barometric, humidity and temperature sensors.
Data transmission to the Central Unit via wired connection and CAN-Bus protocol for on-edge processing.
Automatic pre-processing of the detected data.
Static analysis of inclinations and dynamic analysis of data through automatic modal identification of dynamic parameters, obtaining modal deformations, natural frequencies and damping.
Storage of raw data in the Central Unit for potential emergencies, according to FIFO logic.
Sending the identified static and dynamic parameters to the Cloud via 3G network.
Statistical processing directly on the Cloud for: the definition of the operation of the structure, the purification of environmental effects and the identification of anomalies.
Upload of final data for remote monitoring.

Sampling frequency of 200Hz. More than 43MB of data transmitted to the Central Unit every 10 minutes with CAN-bus protocol.

The data is transmitted to the Central Unit via CAN-BUS certified communication which allows to support in a robust way the transmission of the large amount of data collected. The data is in fact sampled at a sampling frequency of 200Hz at fixed intervals of 10 minutes, thus obtaining more than 43MB of data transmitted to the Central Unit every 10 minutes.

Add a FEM model.

It is possible to identify the initial state of the structure by generating a FEM model of the deck; this allows to analyze the difference between the real dynamic behavior and the theoretical design behavior of the finite element model.

The FEM model can be updated in order to make the dynamic parameters of the finite element model coincide with those of the real structure by inserting local and global stiffness decreases. In this way you can check the structure in step of exceptional loads.

MODULAR SYSTEM

I-Check does not require planning and following the best practices for the viaduct / bridge under analysis, and is applicable for single spans.

STATIC MONITORING

Static and dynamic monitoring is possible thanks to the use of accelerometers that can also function as inclinometers thanks to the processing algorithm.

DYNAMIC MONITORING

Dynamic monitoring makes it possible to amplify the effect of damage on the monitored data, thus making it easier to identify anomalies in individual decks.

REDUCTION OF DATA TRAFFIC

The reduction in the amount of data transmitted limits the maintenance costs of the monitoring system.

SOFTWARE INTEGRABILITY

The I-Check algorithms can be easily integrated with existing control rooms; in fact, a text file can be sent from the system installed on site containing all the data already processed).

DATA ARCHIVING

Part of the raw data is temporarily archived in the event of anomalies in the monitoring system (backup copy).

REMOTE MANAGEMENT

I-Check can be managed remotely, including upgrades.
