  1. Synchronous sampling by Sensor Boxes installed on the deck. Each Sensor Box contains: Accelerometers, Gyroscopes, Barometers and humidity and temperature sensors.
  2. Data sending to the Central Unit with CAN-Bus Protocol.
  3. Automatic Data pre-processing.
  4. Data static analysis to obtain tilt angles and dynamic analysis of the data through automatic identification of modal parameters. The dynamic identification results are the mode shapes, natural frequencies and dampings.
  5. Raw Data FIFO partial storage in the Central Unit to be available in case of emergency.
  6. Static and dynamic parameters are sent from Central Unit to Cloud using 3G network.
  7. Static and dynamic parameters statistical processing to obtain the
    structure operative range, ambient effect depuration and potential anomaly detection.
  8. Final Data download to user dashboard for remote monitoring.

Sampling frequency of 200Hz. More than 43MB of Data transmitted to the Central Unit every 10 minutes with CAN-Bus protocol.

Data are transmitted to the Central Unit via CAN-Bus certified communication which allows to support the transmission of a large amount of Data collected. Data are sampled with a frequency of 200Hz every 10 minutes, thus more than 43MB of data are transmitted.

Anomalies identification.

ISAAC algorithms allow to process Data with maximum accuracy on-edge on the monitored structure (or on parts of it) directly.

Data are processed with specific algorithms to identify static parameters such as residual rotations and modal analysis and obtain structure dynamic parameters thanks to accelerations and rotation speeds measured by Sensor Boxes. Parameters are obtained and sent to the Cloud, where they are purified by environmental factors (temperature and humidity), and confidence intervals are defined to get limits beyond which different alarms (corresponding to different risk thresholds) are activated to define the potential damage presence or maintenance needs. This way the Structure operational state is defined and possible anomalies are automatically identified.

Add a FEM model.

It is possible to model the structure initial state with FEM. This allows the detection of differences between the dynamic behaviour of the real structure and the theoretical design one (the FEM model one).

 

The FEM model can be updated so that its dynamic and static parameters match the real structure identified ones. This way it’s possible to check the structure in case of exceptional loads occurrence.
