Al Mouayed Bellah Nafeh is the winner of ISAAC Blind Prediction Contest, the challenge that ISAAC anti-seismic has launched, to the whole world of structural engineering, academic and research, to predict the result of the experimental campaign on a vibrating table #terquakeISAAC which took place last March 8, 9 and 10 in the laboratories EUCENTRE.
The young Lebanese engineer, PhD student atIUSS University di Pavia, won the competition by winning the recognition of 1000 euros offered by ISAAC, and the free participation (for two people) to a optional training course organized by the EUCENTRE Research Center.
Nafeh, specialized in seismic engineering and seismology, distinguished himself with an analysis of the structural behavior of the building subjected to dynamic tests on a vibrating table, during the laboratory tests of the system ISAAC Protection 1 (I-Pro 1), elaborating the prediction that best reflected the behavior detected from the truth.
The whole ISAAC anti-seismic team congratulates Al Mouayed Bellah on the victory and congratulates all the participants who have joined the initiative with enthusiasm and great professionalism in the initiative promoted by the Milanese startup.
